April Fools!

Okay, so most of you weren't fooled by my last post, which fortunately was an April Fools joke.

If it makes you all feel any better, I got fooled twice today. 1st, in Civil Procedure our professor told us that since there were so many people that were unprepared, we were going to have a pop quiz (which doesn't happen in law school since your whole grade is based on your final). Then he started cracking up and telling us we should have seen the look on our faces. That was a relief! It was like waking up from a bad dream. haha.

Then, Chris and I came out of our house to find a "foreclosure" notice on our door, and a sign in the yard. We knew it was an April Fools joke, but it took us a while to find out who it was. We finally figured out that it was our friends John and Kelsey. The funniest part was that John called asking if he could come see the house and I was convinced it was a Mexican woman.

Anyway, I love April Fools. It is one of my favorite days of the year. My love for this wonderful day began back in high school, when I found an extremely realistic-looking rubber snake and brought it to school. During one of my classes, I opened my purse and then started screaming and threw the snake at someone. It was really funny, everyone around me was totally freaked out. Of course, my ultimate favorite April Fools day was when I convinced my mom that I was engaged (even though I didn't even have a bf). My mom and sis flew in to Utah that day, so it was perfect. At dinner, I was wearing a fake ring, and my mom started asking about boys. I turned red and eventually told her I was engaged. Then I pulled out my hand and she freaked! My sis was in on it so she was making some believable comments, and my mom practically started crying. That's when I told her it was an April Fools. It was hilarious, but the joke didn't end there...we called my dad and April Fooled him.

Since then, I have always tried to pull some April Fools day joke. Unfortunately, you all are becoming too good at expecting it. Maybe next year... :)

Surprise!

Sorry I posted this via blog, but I'd rather not talk about it right now. It may take me a few days to warm up to the idea.
