Halloween!

For Halloween Chris and I dressed up as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Our costumes were a little ridiculous as you can see.

Kelsi dressed up like a law school nerd (her husband is also in law school), and Jack was a monster.

Don't worry...the "bump" was just a pillow.

Oklahoma Fair

Chris and I went with our friends John, Kelsi, and baby Jack to the Oklahoma Fair. We ate a ton and I was hypnotized in the hypnotist show. It was crazy!

BYU v. OU

Chris went with his bros, dad, and cousins to the BYU v. OU game in Dallas. He had a lot of fun (and I was glad I didn't have to go).
Chris wore BYU and OU gear (what a nerd...haha).

Pops!

It was our friend Heather's B-day a couple of weeks ago. We went with a group of couples to a restaurant called "Pops". Apparently, it's one of Oklahoma's hot spots. lol. It's a restaurant attached to a gas station, and they have hundreds of different types of soda (aka: "pop" if you live in Utah), which is why it is so famous. It was kind of out in the middle of nowhere but it was a lot of fun (and quite a unique experience), and the food was really good.

We got Heather a pinata and set it up right there at Pops. Kesli was really excited about it because it was a "traditional" pinata, and I thought her reaction was so funny that we had to buy it.

Heather and Kesli (We made Heather wear a boa and tiara).

Benny's Wedding

Okay, so I know I should've posted this about 2 months ago, but my bro Ben got married in August in Napa. His wedding was beautiful and I was glad I was able to make it (unfortunately, Chris wasn't able to make it b/c orientation for the MBA program had already started). It was a lot of fun, and it was cool to go back to Northern CA b/c it's been a while since I've been there.

I loved driving around with Logan. He is such a sweet baby!

Ben and Lexy both looked great, and it was such a beautiful location!

Poor Logan hates the sun.

This pic is for Jared and Mark. haha.

Cute little nieces.

Sebastopol. LOL.

April Fools!

Okay, so most of you weren't fooled by my last post, which fortunately was an April Fools joke.

If it makes you all feel any better, I got fooled twice today. 1st, in Civil Procedure our professor told us that since there were so many people that were unprepared, we were going to have a pop quiz (which doesn't happen in law school since your whole grade is based on your final). Then he started cracking up and telling us we should have seen the look on our faces. That was a relief! It was like waking up from a bad dream. haha.

Then, Chris and I came out of our house to find a "foreclosure" notice on our door, and a sign in the yard. We knew it was an April Fools joke, but it took us a while to find out who it was. We finally figured out that it was our friends John and Kelsey. The funniest part was that John called asking if he could come see the house and I was convinced it was a Mexican woman.

Anyway, I love April Fools. It is one of my favorite days of the year. My love for this wonderful day began back in high school, when I found an extremely realistic-looking rubber snake and brought it to school. During one of my classes, I opened my purse and then started screaming and threw the snake at someone. It was really funny, everyone around me was totally freaked out. Of course, my ultimate favorite April Fools day was when I convinced my mom that I was engaged (even though I didn't even have a bf). My mom and sis flew in to Utah that day, so it was perfect. At dinner, I was wearing a fake ring, and my mom started asking about boys. I turned red and eventually told her I was engaged. Then I pulled out my hand and she freaked! My sis was in on it so she was making some believable comments, and my mom practically started crying. That's when I told her it was an April Fools. It was hilarious, but the joke didn't end there...we called my dad and April Fooled him.

Since then, I have always tried to pull some April Fools day joke. Unfortunately, you all are becoming too good at expecting it. Maybe next year... :)

Surprise!

Sorry I posted this via blog, but I'd rather not talk about it right now. It may take me a few days to warm up to the idea.

Spring Break

For Spring break we went to Houston for the weekend, and then to Austin for a couple days. It was great to see the Peeler's and their house because we haven't gotten a chance to get down there yet. Erica and I ditched out on church and went shopping at the Galleria, which is an AWESOME mall. We had a lot of fun hanging out, playing Rock Band, and spending time with Erica and BJ and the kids.

We had a lot of fun in Austin too b/c everyone was there, including my Grandma. We got to spend a lot of time with the family, which was great. Chris, me, my mom, and Grandma went outlet shopping in San Marcos and we literally spent all day there, which was a dream day for me (even though I don't think Chris liked it that much haha). Anyways, it was great to see the family, and we miss you all!!

Me and Chris and the Peeler kids. We can't wait for the twins to come!!!

Me and Gracie with twin hair (minus the color :) ).

Me and Tanner

Kyler was being so cute! He finally would let me hold him and play with him without crying for Erica. He was talking a lot too. He kept saying "I go" whenever he wanted out of the car, and one time we were stopped at a stoplight and he shouted "GO!" It was hilarious.

Utah

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I know I've been a slacker. Here our some pics from our trip to Utah, which I know was FOREVER AGO (January). I'll try to do better next time.

Chris's sis-in-law Jenny, bro Jeff, and sis Jenny

This is our little niece Lyndsey. Isn't she adorable?

While in UT, we went bowling with Tava (aka: Tator) my old roommate. She just moved back from Pittsburg so it was awesome to see her b/c I haven't seen her for a while.

People always make fun of Tava and me b/c of our big mouths, so we decided to not be ashamed of our claim to fame.

Don't ask.

Chris' sis Angela. I don't remember where we were going...that's probably why I'm not supposed to wait 2 months to post pics.

Chris and I went with Jeff, Meygen, and Cory to the Nickelcade (yes, it's an arcade that charges nickels). It was pretty entertaining.

Me and Meygs (aka: Fluff).

Meygen and her husband Cory

Christmas and More

Sorry it has been so long since we blogged! Not too much has happened...we were just busy with school and work. We finished our first semester and its nice to be done with finals. For Christmas we went to my parents' house in Austin. Grandma and Jared and Jeni's family were there, but the rest of the family was out of town so it was a smaller group then usual, but we still had a lot of fun, even though we missed everyone. After Christmas, Jared and Jeni and kids came to our house for a couple of days, and then Grandma, Mom, and Dad came up as well. Unfortunately, Dad's trip was a little short because he was allergic to the cats, which was disappointing. We hung out at home, did some sight seeing, and that was about it. Anyways, here are a few pics. Hope you all had a good Christmas!

Jazlynn, Dad, Mom, Jaydon, Grandma, and Janae on Christmas

This is Chris and me with our cat cups. Thanks Mom! This picture makes me laugh. I think Jazlynn was watching Dora and that's why she couldn't look up. Also, in case you can't tell, she is holding our cat.

Grandma and Janae

We took my Mom and Grandma to the lake near our house. Everything is pretty dry and brown right now because it's winter, but my Mom and Grandma still thought it was pretty and kept saying they could imagine what it would look like in the spring. hehe. I guess they will have to come back and see if they were right.

Jeni and I went shopping and I got lip gloss shaped like lips. Haha.

Janae loved to play with our cats. Here is a pic of her with Eric. He was a good sport that week.
