Galveston, TX

At the end of the summer, Chris and I took a mini-vacation to Galveston, TX, before starting the new semester. The best part about Galveston is that there is NOTHING to do there, so you don't feel guilty about relaxing and not doing anything. After going to Schlitterbaun with BJ, Gracie, Tanner, and Caden the first day of our trip, we spent the rest of our time relaxing at the pool and hotel. Overall, it was a great vacation.

When we were leaving, we looked out of our hotel window and saw the Carnival Conquest. It was really cool because it was the same ship that Chris and I took on our honeymoon 4 years ago.

Chris standing in front of our hotel. The hotel was really nice, but when we were checking out, someone asked us if we heard any weird noises because, apparently, the floor we were staying on is supposed to be haunted. Haha.

Wow! I can't believe that you guys updated your blog! The kids had fun going to Slitterbaun that one day! It would be nice to have a vacation where you don't have to do anything.

Erica told me that you guys updated your blog so I checked and what do you know you did!!! I am surprised you guys didn't go out deep sea fishing or scuba diving. I hear there is a bunch of oil you can see on the bottom of the gulf!!
