Galveston, TX

At the end of the summer, Chris and I took a mini-vacation to Galveston, TX, before starting the new semester. The best part about Galveston is that there is NOTHING to do there, so you don't feel guilty about relaxing and not doing anything. After going to Schlitterbaun with BJ, Gracie, Tanner, and Caden the first day of our trip, we spent the rest of our time relaxing at the pool and hotel. Overall, it was a great vacation.

When we were leaving, we looked out of our hotel window and saw the Carnival Conquest. It was really cool because it was the same ship that Chris and I took on our honeymoon 4 years ago.

Chris standing in front of our hotel. The hotel was really nice, but when we were checking out, someone asked us if we heard any weird noises because, apparently, the floor we were staying on is supposed to be haunted. Haha.

Ft. Worth Stockyards

My mom met Chris and me in Dallas for the weekend, and we went to the Ft. Worth Stockyards. It was 5000 degrees outside, and I got my butt kicked by a mechanical bull, but aside from that, it was a lot of fun and I was so excited to see my mom!

4th of July

For the Fourth of July weekend, Chris and I showed up at my parents' house at midnight and surprised them. My mom was very excited (or at least she pretended to be...I don't know if I would really be excited if people showed up unanounced at my house at midnight...hehe).

I thought this was sooo cute...Jazlynn was sleeping on Chris.

Jeff's Wedding

During the spring, we went to Utah for Chris' brother Jeff's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and it was great to see everyone (including our newest nephew).

Chris' brother, Jeff, and Brittany

Our cute niece, Lindsay.

Our cute nephew, Ryan.

Lindsay and Chris' sister, Jenny.

My B-Day (April 8th)

For my Birthday, Chris "surprised" me with a watch that I had been wanting for several months. I say "surprise" because a couple of months before my Birthday, I wrote in his planner about a week before my birthday "Have you ordered me the boyfriend watch from Nine West for my Birthday yet?", but then I completely forgot about it until I opened my gift. I absolutely love it, and I've worn it almost every day since. On my Birthday, we went out with our friends John and Kelsi, and they got me the awesome Jacob poster (below) because I am obsessed. It was hilarious!!!

It's Snowing!

When Chris and I were deciding where to go to law school, we decided to leave Utah because I hate the snow. However, we've been here two years now, and it has snowed both winters!!! Not only does it snow, but it also gets really icy and the roads are really unsafe, and everything in the town shuts down. I took this picture of the tree in our front yard to show you how bad it ices (I took the pic from the window because there was no way I was going outside). Unfortunately, Chris was out of town the weekend of the ice storm and I was trapped at home for three days. It was miserable, but don't worry, it's really nice outside right now.

Christmas 2009

Last year for Christmas we went to my parents' house in Austin, TX. We had a lot of fun watching all the kids open their presents. This year we will be going to Orlando for Christmas to see Chris' family, and we are really looking forward to it!

Me beating up Jaydon...I was so jealous of his nerf guns.

We're Back!

I'm so sorry that it has been so long since Chris and I blogged. I have quite a few posts to catch up on, so here is a quick update. Chris and I are getting close to graduating from law school. I will be done in May, and Chris will be done in May of 2012 (Since he is also getting his MBA). Chris interned with AT&T over the summer, and really enjoyed it. We are still living in Norman, Oklahoma, with our two cats and no kids :) We miss all of you, and apologize for being such horrible bloggers!!
